Classic Lash Extensions is a lash by lash technique using one thicker lash extension on each natural lash
Classic lashes is suitable for clients with a denser lash line. The lash fibres used for classic lashes are much thicker than russian volume lashes because they are applied one per natural lash. In order to achieve a more fuller look with classic lashes, the thickness of the lash finer has to be increased. Typically we use 0.15g lashes for a classic set. Upon a client’s request, we can increase the thickness of the lash to 0.20g or 0.25g. Some clients prefer a barely there effect and may request for 0.10g lashes.
The health of your natural lashes is very important to us. You technician will assess your natural lash and recommend the most suitable lashes to be applied to your natural lashes.
What is the difference between a half set and a full set of Classic Lashes?
Half Set of Classic Lashes
Eyelash extensions are applied to only up to 60 percent of the top lash line. Although less lashes are used for a half set, our expert technicians fully blend the lash hairs to the full lash line to create the illusion of a full set. A half set of Classic Lashes typically takes up to 1 hour to complete.
You may need to book in your infills earlier because less lashes are covered and used for half set lashes. We recommend infills every 2 weeks
Full Set of Classic Lashes
Eyelash extensions are applied to the whole of the top lash line. A full set can be customised to look natural or dramatic depending on the desired look.
It takes up to 1 hour and half for a full set of Classic lashes and we recommend infills every 2 to 3 weeks.
Styling your classic lashes
classic eyelash extensions can be made dramatic or natural depending on the condition of the natural lashes. At primalashes, we stock classic eyelash extensions from 7mm to 15mm. classic eyelash extensions weighs 0.15g, 0.20g and 0.25g. Classic eyelash extensions curls come in J curl, the least curled and most natural looking curl option to more curlier options in B Curl, C curl and D curl. Combining different lengths, thickness and curls can make the lashes more natural looking or more dramatic.
If you prefer a more dramatic look but have very fine natural lashes, it is better to use Russian volume eyelash extensions which can weigh as little as 0.004g. We do not use 0.25g lashes in our studio as it tends to be too heavy and damaging for the natural lashes. If you have very healthy strong natural lashes, we may be able to apply 0.25g lashes on but only upon inspection of your natural lashes.
